November 21, 2007: Perturbed about the SRK-BCCI spat of words. Ruhi thinks that both the parties need to grow up! BCCI needs to concentrate on cricket instead of the spectators and SRK needs to quit issuing silly statements like “I will not go to watch any more cricket and will tell my kids not to reveal who their father is”!
November 22, 2007: Ruhi is upset that her hometown, Kolkata, is getting ruined because of the Nandigram riots and the 20,000 bandhs that all the politicians (esp. Mamta Banerjee) declare.
Boo, I’m a total pro-SRK person. Everything he says is fine!
But yeah, BCCI does need to grow up big time. They should stop doing silly things such as not allowing black clothes and Shah Rukh Khan’s inside the stadium. Shah Rukh would bring Deepika along and then India would win the match. Basically, it’s the Dhoni and Deepika fling, they can’t even understand their captain! And now they’ve stopped selectors from writing in newspapers. It’s silly. They should get rid of all those assclown politicians in the BCCI. Btw, I really love this concept you’ve started!

I didn’t know that Dhoni and Deepika are having a fling. I thought that Deepika and Ranbir were an item in the past?
I started this concept because there are just so many small tidbits that I want to blog about, but never get down to it. So, I’ll usually post them in that tab. I should probably archive them on this page too…after I remove them from the widget. But thank you for noticing it.

And about Kolkata, what has happened is indeed sad. And also the Nandigram issue, I wonder how the CPI(M) let things get so bad in there. I saw Derek O’ Brien close to tears in an interview the other day, he was really concerned about the way things were going on. And what do the politicians do to solve the problem? They deport Tasleema Nasreen to some other state. Wow, that was so darned clever.
And now blasts in Uttar Pradesh. I wonder what our country is coming to. In the name of democracy, everyone is having their own way with things. It’s more like gunda-raj these days.

About the Calcutta bit- There have been so many bandhs and curfews that it’s not even funny anymore. Soon it will surpass J&K in the level of disturbance. Deporting Tasleema Nasreen won’t solve anything. Poor lady had to run from AP too, where lots of people had stormed into a press conference and thrown all kinds of bottles etc. at her.
Yeah, Ranbir and Deepika would look great together, they’ve both got the charm and the personality. I don’t like Sonam a lot anyway, she’s like super giggly. And Dhoni with Deepika is just well..I’d say Deepika should rather commit suicide.

@Poonam: Nothing new with D. You and Sha were the only ones knowing her name before it came out here. I tried taking a picture of her yesterday and though I did manage one, the tube light destroyed it. Actually I was pretending to take a photograph of my friend and she was right behind the friend. Would’ve tried it again but it might get obvious. I still don’t know what to say to her though. Maybe will have a discussion with her over why IIT forms are cheaper for girls lol.

As far as the disturbances in Calcutta go, of course it’s absolutely uncalled for.. but then whats happening with the farmers isnt fair either. You CANNOT force people out of their homes … and threaten / rape them if they refuse to leave.. - YOu can’t.. I think it violates the Fundamental Right to EXISTANCE (fi there is such a thing!)
Although, I am not saying that the way to deal with all this is calling Bandhs - I support Mamata Bannerjee’s cause.. but not her means!

@Amyth, Yes you are totally correct. Mamta Banerjee’s house is actually about 10 mins away from my place. I wish I could go and demolish her already decaying house. I don’t know how people can be so unjust and force poor people out of their homes. The only thing they have is that piece of land…it sickens me to think about it.
