Porn, anyone?

I’m sure all you guys who read my blog must have gotten very excited after seeing the blog post title. Sorry, I’m not giving away free memberships to any porn website.untitled.jpg

A couple of people landed here while searching for “moms f***ing” and “aunty lover”. :| When I ran a Google Search, all I could see were listings of porn sites, at least in the first ten pages. How desperate must they have been to go beyond the first ten pages or so to have actually landed up here! My blog is rated for “General Audiences”. Take a look at my About page.

Also, someone searched for Ranbir Kapoor’s phone number. Heh. Poor fan! No doughnuts for you. Sorry!

Edit: Came across another weird term ” THE RECEIVER REQUESTED A HOLD FOR A FUTU” (WTF?! what is a Futu?)

Have you come across any weird Search Engine Terms in your Blog Stats Page?

    Yes, but I can’t repeat it.

    @prestidigitator:

    Oh yeah! I remember your post on this topic. After reading your comment, I ran a search again and saw that your blog is still in the No. 1 position when I searched for Malayalee Moron ;)

    I get these wierd search engine terms all the time and mostly the ones who click to my page must be very disappointed. Here are a couple of today’s terms:

    female escorts girls in goa for new year
    nazi sex practices

    Needless to say I’ve written zilch about these subjects! :) Search engines unfortunately pick up different words from different articles, I think unless you add the + sign between words, but I am not sure about this.

    let me share something funny that I noticed

    poonam Orkut ……… howz that Poonam :)

    and after I wrote, how to make photos private in orkut,

    how to view private photos in orkut ……… well a few who want to know how to view those private photos !!!

  10. 10 ruhi December 4, 2007 at 3:07 am

    @Ankur Aggarwal:

    Sorry! I told you that I’m not distributing any free membership here.

    @Patrick, I get that something related to mashed potatoes every single day! I do have one meme post where I professed my love for this American dish, but nothing else… :)

    @Dinsan: Funny, no? As if Ranbir Kapoor’s phone number is floating around the Internet :P I’m amazed that people even look for celebrity’s phone numbers through google. I remember reading an article when Paris Hilton’s number had been leaked out. I gave her a call and it was her voice mail. :P

    Poonam Orkut? Didn’t know that Poonam is so famous, eh? :)

    //how to view private photos in orkut ……… well a few who want to know how to view those private photos !!!

    ROFL. They need a magical key to break that lock ;) Edit your post and insert this line. Let’s see how infuriated people get.

    @Nita, Can’t stop laughing at the “Female escorts” search term. It’s amusing to see some of these search terms. Even in my wildest dreams, I wouldn’t search for something like this! Maybe I should convert this post into a “meme game” and let everyone write some weird search engine terms. :)

    Not sounding like blatant self promotion [which is why there are no links... you could put that as being lazy too...] but you should see my Searching for Me posts. :P

  12. 12 dinsan December 4, 2007 at 3:38 am

    @ Ruhi… well thats an idea to get more hits lol… ;) uhmmmm uhmmmmm ***cough..

    Yea, never knew Poonam is that famous lol…. and why dint they search inaside orkut.com.. dont they know about robots.txt ?

    what about giving my phone number as Ranbir’s number lol :P

  13. 13 Nishu December 4, 2007 at 9:37 am

    Ruhi,

    when someone search for porn he/she is obviously so desperate that he/she wont click on next page icon at all.
    Have u tried blogsearch and image search of google?
    All traffic to my blog comes from image search. People searching for T-shirts, Dota, Naruto and Deepika Padukone.

  14. 14 ruhi December 4, 2007 at 1:25 pm

    @Ashish:

    You mean in your blog? All right. I’ll take a look. :)

    @dinsan, Probably they weren’t the smartest of people if they were searching for “Poonam Orkut” outside Orkut. :P Yeah, write a post with your number instead of Ranbir Kapoor. There won’t be any problem…except that your house will become BSNL/MTNL customer service center.

    @Nishu, Actually…it’s quite the opposite of what you said. The last time I ran a search, my blog didn’t appear anywhere within the first few pages. YET they managed to locate it. That’s what’s funny. There is no way my blog will appear in the top searches because this is not a porn site.

    Yes, I have tried Blog and Image search on Google. I never used to get much traffic from these Google search engines, but since the last 2-3 days, i’m getting lots of hits from image search results too. Weird.

    so sad…

    google sometimes make me tired :(

  16. 16 Patrick December 4, 2007 at 10:17 pm

    well, nothing wrong with a solid helping of mashed potatoes, I am from the South after all - buttermilk is the key

  17. 17 Ashish December 5, 2007 at 2:11 am

    Well yeah, one of the funniest was “cannot access internet after installing son”. lol.

  18. 18 ruhi December 5, 2007 at 2:32 am

    @Patrick, All I use is the ready made Idaho mashed potato mix. :( Don’t know how to make it from scratch. They are much tastier when they are cooked fresh, of course.

    ROFLMAO. That is SO funny! Did you help him son? Is that why you’re writing all those “How to” posts son?

  19. 19 meirz December 5, 2007 at 6:43 am

    goodness!!! :O

  20. 20 rohanmanoharlovetobe December 5, 2007 at 10:10 am

    i remember somebody searched for “muvattupuzha f***ing girls” and landed in my blog..
    muvattupuzha is my home town……

    Ruhi: People are definitely more interested in sex that they admit. That is what these search engine terms prove!

  21. 21 ish December 6, 2007 at 9:21 am

    Ouch, I was really expecting some nude pictures in this post you know. After seeing that previous post with that pic, I really was and you broke my heart. Boo :(

    But you needn’t be scared, they’re not searching for you topless as they were in my case :P

  22. 22 ruhi December 6, 2007 at 10:59 pm

    @ish:

    Heh. You don’t need to come to my blog to see nude pics. I’m sure you know where to look ;)

    Those search terms in Ashish’s blog were really funny. I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard before. Heh. Who would want to see you topless?? :P

  23. 23 ish December 7, 2007 at 8:05 am

    I don’t know, maybe some random chicks who know me? :P
